How Womb Wisdom and the Lineage Liberation Method™ Changed My Approach to Ancestral Healing
I thought I understood ancestral healing.
I'd done the therapy. The shadow work. The inner child meditations. I'd confronted my narcissistic mother wound, processed my childhood abuse, worked through my toxic first marriage.
I'd become a Reiki Master. A trauma-informed yoga instructor. I'd learned to play the buffalo drum, discovered my light language, done plant medicine ceremonies, and undergone past life regression.
I thought I'd done the work.
And then I became a womb keeper.
Everything I thought I knew about generational trauma, ancestral patterns, and lineage healing—it all shifted. Deepened. Became more whole.
Because womb wisdom isn't just about the physical womb. It's about the sacred feminine lineage that runs through every woman, whether she has a uterus or not. It's about the ancestral memory held in our bodies, the patterns passed down through the mother line, the wisdom that's been suppressed for generations.
When I completed my womb keeper certification, I didn't just add another credential to my name.
I found the missing piece of the framework I'd been building for years.
That framework became the Lineage Liberation Method™—the three-phase process of Witnessing, Releasing, and Remembering that now guides everything I do in the Soft Hearts Society™.
This is the story of how womb wisdom changed my approach to healing. And why it matters for every woman carrying generational wounds.
What I Didn't Understand Before Womb Keeper Training
Before I trained as a womb keeper, I understood trauma intellectually. I knew about nervous system dysregulation, about fight-flight-freeze-fawn responses, about how childhood experiences shape our adult patterns.
But I didn't understand how deep the womb carries memory.
The womb isn't just a reproductive organ. It's a sacred portal, a center of intuition, creativity, power, and lineage memory. It holds:
The trauma your mother experienced while pregnant with you
The survival strategies your grandmother used that got encoded in your nervous system
The collective feminine wounds of women who came before you—silencing, shame, violence, suppression
Your own experiences of violation, boundary breaches, loss, and disconnection from your feminine power
The womb remembers what the mind forgets.
When I was bedridden from burnout, my body was screaming something my mind couldn't articulate yet. My womb was holding generations of women who'd worked themselves to exhaustion, who'd sacrificed their desires for others, who'd believed rest was weakness and boundaries were selfish.
I wasn't just healing my burnout. I was healing my lineage.
But I didn't have language for that yet. I didn't have a framework.
Womb keeper training gave me both.
The Sacred Feminine Lineage We've Been Severed From
One of the first things I learned in womb keeper training was this:
Most women are disconnected from their womb wisdom because disconnection was a survival strategy.
When you're violated, you leave your body. When you're shamed for your sexuality, you shut down your womb space. When you're taught that your intuition is "too sensitive" or "too emotional," you learn to override what your womb is telling you.
And when your mother was disconnected, and her mother before her, you inherit that severance.
You inherit:
Mistrust of your body's signals
Shame about pleasure, desire, and feminine power
A belief that your cycle is a curse instead of wisdom
Numbness or pain in your womb space
An inability to feel grounded in your pelvis and lower body
This disconnection keeps us stuck in survival mode. In our heads. Overthinking. Overworking. Performing.
We can't access rest, softness, or cyclical living when we're severed from the womb.
Womb keeper training taught me how to reconnect. Not just for myself, but for the women I serve.
And that reconnection became the foundation of the Lineage Liberation Method™.
How Womb Wisdom Shows Up in Each Phase
Phase 1: Witnessing Through the Womb
In the Witnessing phase of the Lineage Liberation Method™, we're looking at what's been passed down through your lineage. But womb wisdom adds a crucial layer:
We're not just asking "What did my mother teach me?" We're asking "What did my mother's womb hold while she carried me?"
Because the womb doesn't lie. If your mother was terrified during pregnancy, your nervous system absorbed that fear. If she was grieving a loss, suppressing rage, or enduring abuse—you felt it. Before you had language. Before you had choice.
Womb-centered Witnessing practices include:
Placing hands on your womb space and asking: What are you holding that isn't mine?
Journaling prompts about your mother's pregnancy with you, her relationship to her own body, her womb story
Guided meditations to connect with your womb and listen to what she needs to tell you
Altar work honoring the mother line—your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother—and the womb wisdom they carried (even if it was suppressed)
This phase isn't about blaming our mothers. It's about seeing the full picture—the generational context, the ancestral wounds, the survival strategies that were necessary then but are harming us now.
Witnessing through the womb gives us compassion. For them. For ourselves. For the daughters coming after us.
Phase 2: Releasing Through the Womb
The Releasing phase is where womb wisdom becomes essential.
You cannot think your way out of generational trauma. You have to feel it, move it, and let your body discharge it.
The womb holds trauma that the mind has no access to. Therapy can help you understand what happened. But womb work helps you release what's been stored in your tissues for years—or generations.
Womb-centered Releasing practices include:
Womb Reiki to move stagnant energy and restore flow in the pelvic bowl
Sound healing with buffalo drum, rattle, and voice directed at the womb space to vibrate stuck emotions loose
Womb breath practices that use intentional breathing to soften, open, and release
Yoni steaming and womb rituals to honor the sacred feminine and create ceremony around release
Somatic womb practices like pelvic rocking, hip circles, and grounding movements that discharge trauma from the lower body
Grief rituals for losses held in the womb—miscarriages, abortions, infertility, sexual trauma, severed feminine lineage
This is the work that talk therapy alone cannot do.
When I guide a woman through womb-centered releasing, I'm not just helping her process her own story. I'm helping her release her mother's unexpressed grief, her grandmother's rage, the collective wound of women who were silenced.
The womb is a portal. And when we open it with safety and intention, generations of pain can finally move through.
Phase 3: Remembering Through the Womb
The Remembering phase is about reclaiming who you are beneath all the conditioning. And the womb holds the memory of that original wholeness.
Before the world told you to be smaller, quieter, more palatable—your womb knew your power. Your pleasure. Your cyclical nature. Your right to rest, to say no, to take up space.
Womb-centered Remembering practices include:
Womb reconnection meditations to restore relationship with your sacred feminine center
Cycle awareness practices that honor your body's natural rhythms instead of forcing linear productivity
Pleasure practices that reclaim your right to feel good in your body (not sexual—sensory, embodied aliveness)
Boundary work from the womb—learning to feel a "no" in your pelvis before your mind talks you out of it
Creative womb expression through movement, art, voice, play
Womb altar practices that honor your feminine lineage and the wisdom you're reclaiming
When women reconnect with their womb wisdom, everything changes.
They stop overriding their body's signals. They stop forcing themselves through exhaustion. They start honoring their need for rest, for cyclical rhythms, for softness.
They remember that they are not machines. They are cyclical, sacred, feminine beings.
And that remembering? That's what breaks the cycle for the daughters coming after them.
Why Womb Wisdom is Essential for Breaking Generational Cycles
Here's what I didn't fully understand before womb keeper training:
You cannot break a generational pattern with the same energy that created it.
If your lineage is rooted in disconnection from the body, you cannot heal it through more mental analysis.
If your lineage is rooted in suppression of the feminine, you cannot heal it through masculine-driven productivity strategies.
If your lineage is rooted in survival mode and hypervigilance, you cannot heal it by pushing harder.
You have to return to the womb. To the body. To the sacred feminine. To rest. To cyclical wisdom. To softness.
That's why womb wisdom is at the center of the Lineage Liberation Method™.
Because the women who came before us survived by leaving their bodies, overworking, silencing themselves, and pushing through.
We heal by doing the opposite.
We return to our bodies. We honor our womb wisdom. We rest. We speak. We set boundaries. We live cyclically instead of linearly.
We become the ancestors our lineage needed.
How This Shows Up in the Soft Hearts Society™
Every woman who joins the Soft Hearts Society™ is moving through the Lineage Liberation Method™ in some capacity. And womb wisdom practices are woven throughout.
In our weekly livestreams, I teach womb reconnection practices, womb breath, somatic womb work.
In our monthly Wisdom Circles, we hold space for women to share what their womb is holding—grief, rage, disconnection, awakening.
In our guided meditations, I lead womb healing journeys, womb Reiki sessions, womb-centered ancestor work.
In our mother-daughter courses, we explore how the womb holds generational patterns and how mothers and daughters can heal the mother line together.
This isn't abstract spiritual work. It's embodied, practical, transformative.
And it's changing lives—not just for the women doing the work, but for the generations coming after them.
What Womb Wisdom Has Taught Me
Becoming a womb keeper didn't just give me new tools. It gave me a new understanding of why my collapse happened in the first place.
My womb was trying to protect me.
By shutting down my capacity to keep going, my body forced me to stop. To rest. To reconnect. To remember that I am not a machine designed for endless output.
My womb was wiser than my mind.
And when I finally listened—when I placed my hands on my womb and asked what she needed—the answer was clear:
Softness. Rest. Boundaries. Cyclical living. Connection to my feminine lineage. Permission to stop performing.
That's what I offer women now. Not because it's trendy. Not because it's "wellness content."
Because it's the medicine that saved my life. And it's the medicine that can save yours.
The Lineage Liberation Method™ is Womb-Centered Healing
The three phases—Witnessing, Releasing, Remembering—aren't just intellectual frameworks. They're womb wisdom practices that honor the sacred feminine, the mother line, and the body's innate capacity to heal when given the right conditions.
This is what makes the Lineage Liberation Method™ different from other healing modalities.
It's not just therapy. It's not just energy work. It's not just mindset coaching.
It's a return to the womb. To the body. To the feminine. To the lineage.
And that return? That's what changes everything.
