The Crossing™

You are not disappearing. You are arriving.

Whole-person, ancestral, and spiritually grounded support for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and the changes that accompany this threshold.

Nobody told you it would feel like this.

Not only the changes in sleep, temperature, energy, concentration, or the body you thought you understood.

There may also be grief. Anger. Relief. Questions about identity, purpose, sexuality, relationships, caregiving, boundaries, aging, or the woman you are becoming.

You may be looking at your mother differently. You may be remembering how the women before you moved through this season—or realizing that no one ever spoke about it.

You may feel as if your interior world is rearranging itself while the rest of life expects you to continue as usual.

You are not failing. You are crossing.

“This is not your body failing you. This is your body finally asking to be heard. ”

What is The Crossing™?

The Crossing™ is a ceremonial support container for the whole experience of perimenopause and menopause: the physical, emotional, relational, ancestral, and spiritual.

This work does not treat menopause as something you must simply endure, nor does it romanticize symptoms or dismiss the medical care you may need.

It offers a place where your physical experience can be acknowledged alongside deeper questions:

•        What is changing?

•        What is asking to be grieved?

•        What have I outgrown?

•        What am I no longer willing to carry?

•        What does my body need now?

•        What did the women before me know—or never have the safety to say?

•        Who am I becoming in this next season?

The Crossing™ gives you room to meet those questions slowly, with information, ceremony, reflection, and compassionate accompaniment.

“The grandmothers didn’t survive everything they survived, so you could white-knuckle your way through the change.”

A threshold deserves a container

Across generations, women have crossed this threshold in silence. Some were told very little. Some had their symptoms minimized. Some learned to continue working, caregiving, and carrying everyone else while their own bodies asked for attention.

The Crossing™ interrupts that silence.

Here, menopause is understood as a real physiological transition that may require informed healthcare and practical support. It is also honored as a personal and spiritual passage—one that can reshape your relationship with your body, time, identity, lineage, voice, and power.

We do not have to choose between evidence and spirit. There is room for both.

The Lineage Liberation Method™

Witness

We make room for what is happening without minimizing, pathologizing, or rushing it. We explore your present experience, the messages of your body, roles you have carried, and what you learned about womanhood, aging, rest, strength, desire, and change.

Release

We identify what this season may be asking you to loosen: overgiving, silence, inherited expectations, outgrown identities, and the belief that your needs must always come last. Release is not forced.

Remember

We listen for the woman emerging beneath what no longer fits—her wisdom, voice, desire, discernment, authority, relationship with body and spirit, and understanding of what she wants to carry forward.

The goal is not to return you to who you were before this transition. It is to accompany you toward who you are becoming.

What happens during a session?

Return

Close intentionally, return to the present, and choose a gentle point of integration.

Not every modality is used in every session.

Support between sessions

The space between meetings is for integration—not constant performance or endless healing work. After each session, you receive a personal integration letter and may receive one optional reflection or practice. The Crossing™ does not include unlimited messaging or crisis support. Questions may be shared through the designated check-in process and will help inform the next session.

A word from me

Hey, Soft Heart...

I did not create The Crossing™ from professional training alone. I created it because I have lived inside this transition.

There was a season when I was bedridden and exhausted in a way that went bone-deep. I was navigating burnout and perimenopause at the same time, but I did not yet have the language to separate them. I knew my body was changing. I also knew something deeper was being rearranged.

That experience sent me searching for information, support, and a way of understanding menopause that did not divide the body from the emotional and spiritual life of the woman living inside it.

As a Black woman, public-health professional, certified menopause doula, Reiki Master, teacher, and spiritual practitioner, I understand the importance of honoring more than one way of knowing.

Research matters. Appropriate healthcare matters. Lived experience matters. Culture and lineage matter. The body matters. Spirit matters.

The Crossing™ was created to hold those truths together: informed but not clinical, spiritual but not disconnected from the body, and spacious enough for a woman to hear herself again.

“In every lineage that remembered, this was the season the woman became the elder. You are becoming.”
